1. Vehicle Quality

Have you ever booked a car on a rideshare app thinking you'd be riding in style, only to find out you're riding in a tin can with wheels? When using a ridesharing service, there's always some uncertainty regarding the type of car you'll get. It could be a small, dirty vehicle that doesn't fit your needs. Some ridesharing companies offer luxury options, but there's no guarantee that the car provided will actually be luxurious. However, if you're looking for a stylish ride, a limo service may be the way to go. With a limo service, you have the freedom to choose your own vehicle, and you can rest assured that it will be clean and meet your expectations.

2. Fluctuating Price

One of the most frustrating aspects of using ridesharing apps is that their pricing is unreliable. The cost of a ride usually depends on the availability of drivers and the demand for rides at a certain time. If there are fewer drivers available than there are people who need rides, the prices may increase. However, this is not the case with limousine services from LSG International. When you book a limo service online, the price you are quoted is the price you will pay. No sneaky upcharges. No fluctuating rates. That means that you will always know the exact cost of your ride ahead of time and can plan accordingly.

3. Boring Experiences

Let's face it - the random Honda Civic that picks you up on the ridesharing app can't compare to a quality stretch limousine, luxury SUV, or party bus provided by LSG International. Booking a limo or luxury car driving service can add a touch of class that you won't get with a stranger's car, even if you're just hitting the town with your spouse. If you're looking to make the event extra special, then opting for a limo service is the way to go.

Limo Service Pricing

When it comes to choosing a chauffeured service, price is always an important factor to consider. It's a good idea to compare prices and get an idea of what is a reasonable price to pay. However, keep in mind that the cheapest price may not always be the best value. In fact, it's possible that the cheapest service may end up being disappointing. Always remember the saying, "Price is what you should pay; value is what you should get. "So, don't compromise on quality for the sake of a lower price.

Whether you're renting a limo or a party bus for a wedding or a major event, it's important to find a reliable and trustworthy service provider that can offer you the best value for your money. At LSG International, we take the guesswork out of pricing by offering online quotes, which you can get in just a couple of minutes.

Beech Grove’s annual fall festival returns this week.

The Beech Grove Promoters Club, a nonprofit that hosts community events, will use the proceeds to help fund community initiatives, such as fireworks and the annual Christmas parade.

And this year’s event is bound to make a splash.

Mayor Jim Coffman will be inside a dunk tank from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, to support the Elton H. Geshwiler Senior Center.

Stephanie Bramlett, director of the city’s senior center, said donations for the dunk tank booth will raise money to feed senior citizens during the winter holidays. Bramlett said the department spends around $4,000 making Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for people who visit the center in person, as well as seniors who are physically unable to leave their home.

Bramlett said it hasn’t been confirmed yet, but Mayor Coffman hopes a special guest will take turns with him in the dunk tank.

“Just know that he will not have any weapons on him if he’s up in the dunk tank,” Bramlett said.

If you go

You can enjoy rides, games and live music from 6-11 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10, through Friday, Sept. 12, on Main Street between 3rd and 6th avenues.

Indian Creek wins fourth straight, shuts out Beech Grove

Undefeated Beech Grove walked onto the Indian Creek logo right before kickoff Friday night in Trafalgar, stirring some angry emotions and stoking a fire inside the Braves. Undefeated Beech Grove walked onto the Indian Creek logo right before kickoff Friday night in Trafalgar, stirring some angry emotions and stoking a fire inside the Braves. When the final horn blared, it was the Braves that walked off the field with a 42-0 victory, all the joy a 4-0 record brings and a fire to keep this thing going.

“Our word of the week was ‘elite’ and not worry so much about them, but there was a lot of motivation put out there with score predictions and who should be ranked and who shouldn’t, but at the end of the day it is a football game,” said Indian Creek coach Max Goodin.

Another word that might have been uttered in the defensive meetings this week could have been “punish”. The defense had BG quarterback Bishop Moore on the run all night, sacking him six times, knocking him down on a few more pass attempts and making it miserable for him throughout the night.

“We have more than five kids on defense with more than a 4.0 GPA. They are an intelligent group,” Goodin said .

On the night, sophomore Evan Clark led the way with 119 yards in the air and 70 on the ground to go along with two rushing TDs and another passing. Senior Jaxon Ramey had 86 yards receiving and a solid night returning punts. Junior Drew Pingleton was a focus of the Hornet defense but still managed a touchdown and 45 yards rushing.

“He (Clark) can run it, he can throw it, and our line is so good, we can also force you to pick between packing it in and dealing with Clark and Ramey and throwing or spreading it out and we are running with Clark and Pingleton,” Goodin said.

It was the defense that established itself right away with a three and out after Beech Grove received the opening kickoff. Ramey returned the punt to the Beech Grove 42 and four plays later was on the receiving end of a Clark touchdown pass in the back corner.

Throughout the first quarter, Beech Grove continued to struggle against the Indian Creek defense. After a long punt by the Hornets and two crucial penalties, Indian Creek was forced to punt from inside their own 10 and after it was blocked Beech Grove gained possession. The result was first and goal for BG from the three, and a big opportunity for the Hornets. The Creek defense wasted no time snuffing out the threat when a forced fumble was recovered by Creek junior linebacker Riley Emberton at the seven. The momentum was going the home team’s way and that fire was burning inside the Braves.

The ensuing drive ate up 93 yards in only four plays. Clark ended that drive with a 30-yard touchdown run. However, the big play of the drive, and even the game, was a picture perfect pitch and catch from Clark to Ramey in stride. The play ended with Ramey dragging tacklers for more than 10 yards to set up the score to make it 14-0 and put Creek in control.

“I pride myself on the field and off and even in the weight room, and that was shown on that play,” said Ramey.

“Any chance that I am going to get to throw him (Ramey) that ball, I am going to do it,” Clark said.

Beech Grove still had some life left in them with a defensive stand of their own that saw the Braves punting from their own one-yard line. The Hornets got the ball at Creek’s 30 and had another chance to get in the game, but that defense rose up again. A sack and then another huge play, senior linebacker Nate Nash returned an interception 70 yards for a TD to make it 21-0. A quick TD right before halftime by Clark gave Indian Creek a 28-0 lead and squashed a lot of hope for Beech Grove.

“At halftime, we talked about how we wanted to bury them. We wanted to make sure we finished them and we talked about how predator animals end it when there is blood in the water,” Goodin said.

The Hornets were definitely wounded and if they had any hope coming out of halftime, the long methodical third-quarter drive to open the second half by Creek removed it. The Braves slowly but surely took the ball straight down the field due to their own running game and two crucial fourth-down offsides penalties by BG to keep the drive going. The crushing blow of the drive ended with a 17-yard TD run by Pingleton. It made the score 35-0 and the running clock began. The big plays of the first half weren’t needed to finish off Beech Grove but the steady, methodical power of the offensive and defensive lines pushed the Braves to the win.

“When you can establish those lines, and we did, when you can win the line of scrimmage, you are going to be really good. Our coordinators had great game plans,” Goodin said.

Later in the game, senior running back Vincent Carfiro busted up the gut for a 53-yard score. Junior Rhys Shand had an interception to preserve the shutout in the final minutes to put the icing on the homecoming cake for the home team. Beating an undefeated team that some thought would beat you, winning homecoming and winning against a team that walked on your logo — a big night for the Braves.

“We came out and played our hearts out,” Clark said. “We are a good football team. We spend a lot of time together. We are brothers.”

“They said we were underdogs and we could’ve come in here with our heads down. They stomped on our 50, and we know this might be a dogfight. But we proved we are a good football team,” said Ramey.
