1. Vehicle Quality

Have you ever booked a car on a rideshare app thinking you'd be riding in style, only to find out you're riding in a tin can with wheels? When using a ridesharing service, there's always some uncertainty regarding the type of car you'll get. It could be a small, dirty vehicle that doesn't fit your needs. Some ridesharing companies offer luxury options, but there's no guarantee that the car provided will actually be luxurious. However, if you're looking for a stylish ride, a limo service may be the way to go. With a limo service, you have the freedom to choose your own vehicle, and you can rest assured that it will be clean and meet your expectations.

2. Fluctuating Price

One of the most frustrating aspects of using ridesharing apps is that their pricing is unreliable. The cost of a ride usually depends on the availability of drivers and the demand for rides at a certain time. If there are fewer drivers available than there are people who need rides, the prices may increase. However, this is not the case with limousine services from LSG International. When you book a limo service online, the price you are quoted is the price you will pay. No sneaky upcharges. No fluctuating rates. That means that you will always know the exact cost of your ride ahead of time and can plan accordingly.

3. Boring Experiences

Let's face it - the random Honda Civic that picks you up on the ridesharing app can't compare to a quality stretch limousine, luxury SUV, or party bus provided by LSG International. Booking a limo or luxury car driving service can add a touch of class that you won't get with a stranger's car, even if you're just hitting the town with your spouse. If you're looking to make the event extra special, then opting for a limo service is the way to go.

Limo Service Pricing

When it comes to choosing a chauffeured service, price is always an important factor to consider. It's a good idea to compare prices and get an idea of what is a reasonable price to pay. However, keep in mind that the cheapest price may not always be the best value. In fact, it's possible that the cheapest service may end up being disappointing. Always remember the saying, "Price is what you should pay; value is what you should get. "So, don't compromise on quality for the sake of a lower price.

Whether you're renting a limo or a party bus for a wedding or a major event, it's important to find a reliable and trustworthy service provider that can offer you the best value for your money. At LSG International, we take the guesswork out of pricing by offering online quotes, which you can get in just a couple of minutes.

As you probably know, the internet is the go-to source for information - not just on people, but businesses, too. If you've ever used Yelp or Google to see online reviews, you know what we're talking about. Around 90%of people check out online reviews before making a purchase or visiting a business, and you should, too. A reputable limo service company with loyal customers usually has great reviews. In addition to online reviews, you can also ask friends and family members for limo rental referrals. If a relative or close friend has used a specific company for many years, chances are they're a good choice.

Car Service Rental Fleet

A reliable car service company should have a diverse and extensive fleet with different amenities and features to offer. It is important to note that their fleet should have options for accommodating different size groups of passengers.

As everyone's needs and preferences vary when it comes to using a limo rental service, it is essential to communicate the number of passengers you will have to the company. This will enable them to provide you with the most suitable options for your situation. They have cars that can accommodate two to three passengers and larger coach buses that can accommodate dozens.

Insurance Coverage

This might sound like a no-brainer, but any limo service company worth your money should have the appropriate car insurance and licensing. Don't ever book a party bus or a trip to the airport with a company that doesn't have the right insurance. Personal auto policies Personal auto policies won't cut it - you don't want to be held responsible if there's any sort of mishap on the road. At LSG International, all of our drivers are licensed, and our company maintains the proper car insurance to cover every vehicle in our fleet.

His Eminence and His Inconsistency

Following a press conference held in Rome on November 25, 2025, Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, was questioned by Diane Montagna about Mater populi fidelis, the recent Roman document that declares the title of Co-redemptrix for the Virgin Mary to be "always inappropriate" and that it should no longer be used. The American journalist asked him how this title could be "always inappropriate," when it has been used by saints, Doctors of the Church...

The American journalist asked him how this title could be "always inappropriate," when it has been used by saints, Doctors of the Church, and even by the ordinary magisterium. The prelate replied that it was not a matter of judging the past, but of providing rules for the future. He asserted without hesitation that here "always" means "from now on." In other words: the title of Co-redemptrix was not always inappropriate in the past, but it is always inappropriate for the future.

Cardinal Fernández did not explain by what strange logic what was appropriate in the past has now become inappropriate. If this is to please Protestants, in the name of the ecumenism promoted by Vatican II, it should be clearly stated that Mary is Co-redemptrix until the Council, but that she is no longer so now because of conciliar ecumenism.

The prelate attempted to reassure his interlocutor, adding: "If you . . . wish to express precisely that within your prayer group or among friends, you may use the title [Co-redemptrix]—but it will not be used officially, that is, either in liturgical texts or in official documents." This concession, which was intended to be benevolent, is deeply disturbing. Mary would thus be unofficially Co-redemptrix, but not officially. She has the title privately but not publicly, neither in the liturgy nor in official texts.

In reality, the question is not whether the title of Co-Redemptrix is opportune, but whether it is true or false. It cannot be true in private and false in public. Ultimately, this title is only declared "inopportune" to avoid having to affirm that it is false – or that it is "nonsense," as Pope Francis shamelessly put it, whose influence looms over the entire Roman document.

But words have meaning. The term "inopportune" clearly demonstrates that it is out of ecumenical opportunism, and not for doctrinal reasons, that the title of Co-Redemptrix is being withheld from our Mother. Hence this essential question: do we need a Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith to tell us what is opportune or not? We legitimately expect it to remind us of what is true and what is false, in fidelity to the revealed deposit of Faith. The doctrine of the Faith should not be subject to the fluctuating demands of ecumenical dialogue, but to the constant tradition of the Church.

Let us acknowledge, however, an undeniable benefit to this document: it teaches us that ecumenism is an opportunism based on a doctrine with variable geometry. We suspected as much. Thanks to Cardinal Fernández, we now have proof.

Lighthouse Christian and Seven Oaks Classical were both looking for closer conference affiliations.

Starting from a seed planted by LCA girls basketball and volleyball coach Brian Brown, the two schools, along with Medora, are leaving the widely scattered Southern Roads Conference and putting down new roots in the revived Tri-Rivers Athletic Conference beginning next school year.

That trio will be joined by Mooresville Christian and Eminence, for sure, and possibly Dugger Union as well. Eminence and Dugger were members of the old Tri-Rivers, that also included Linton, Shakamak, North Central and Clay City until it disbanded in 2010.

The plan will cover high school and middle school athletics.

"I stepped in as interim AD in March and this was already a go at that point," LCA AD Leeanna Powell said. "We wanted to get with high schools we were closer to and driving to Cannelton and Madison and all of those places, they're so far away. There was also an emphasis on all of being IHSAA schools.

Check out the all new PLAY hub with puzzles, games and more!

"Our schoolboard unanimously agreed."

It will eliminate long trips to Cannelton, Pleasant View and Madison Christian. It also means an equal footing for each team in the league. Seven Oaks and Mooresville Christian are both set to become fully-participating IHSAA members next year, so they'll all be on the same footing.

The independent Christian schools in the Southern Roads Conference are not bound by many IHSAA restrictions, such as number of games played in one day or using homeschool or junior high aged athletes in varsity events.

"Brian was the initial idea guy," Seven Oaks athletic director Tommy Weakley said. "He pitched it to Eminence's former AD and those two reached out in a Zoom meeting one day. We were all in a similar predicament."

The conference will oversee soccer and volleyball in the fall and basketball in the winter holding tournaments and a championship meet in cross country and possibly a track and field meet in the future.

Seven Oaks and Lighthouse are both seeing growing student bodies and like the idea of competing against like-sized Class 1A schools and with programs that are mostly at similar levels.

Current IHSAA enrollment figures list Dugger as the biggest at 200, with Eminence (96), Lighthouse (74) and Medora the smallest at 64. Mooresville Christian has just over 300 in K-12 and Seven Oaks over 500.

With a mixture of newcomers and veterans, the Eminence and Henry County swim teams are ready to elevate to new heights this winter.

Both teams have excelled in recent years, with numerous athletes qualifying for the first round of the KHSAA State Championship.

This season, each squad aims to maintain its success and improve each day in pursuit of its goals.

“The Henry County and Eminence swim teams have a lot of potential this year. The swimmers are excited to be back in the water and ready to put in the work,” said head coach Sarah Buckley.

For both teams, Buckley said the goal is to make it to the next level, whether it is reaching the top eight in regionals or advancing farther at state.

Last season, three relays and two individuals for the Eminence swim team advanced to the first round of state.

Truman Gilbert, Kaid Blevins, Trey Heath and Austin Landers took part in three relay events for the Warriors. In the 200 yard medley relay, the quartet finished 12th with a time of 1:54.61.

The same group placed 13th in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:41.04 and 12th in the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:48.08.

Individually, Heath came in 14th in the 50 yard freestyle, clocking a time of 23.07.

Blevins rounded out individual competition for Eminence with a 13th place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.35.

“Eminence’s strength is that they have several returning swimmers from last year who are stepping up to fill the spots for those that graduated last year. We have some young swimmers but they are willing to put in the work,” said Buckley.

Heath and Landers return this season and should be key competitors again for Eminence.

“Trey Heath and Austin Landers lead the team as being part of the relay that qualified for the first round of state,” said Buckley.

At the Region Six meet a year ago, Heath took home fifth place with a time of 23.02 in the 50 yard freestyle event and helped all three qualifying relay teams to top eight finishes.

“I'm feeling pretty well coming into this season. Right after football season it's kind of rough to get back, but once I start practicing, it starts going pretty well and I can get my times back,” said Heath.

This year, Heath hopes to build the relay team back to a region contender after losing several members to graduation and reach the final round of state in the 50 free.

“I'm trying to personally make it to the finals of state to swim the 50 free. I'd like to say to trust God that he knows what you have and what he can give you,” said Heath.

Landers has been an integral part of Eminence’s program for several years and will continue to step up in individual and relay events this winter.

At regionals a year ago, he ended in 16th in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:19.94.

“I am feeling pretty confident. I hope to drop a decent amount of time this season for college,” Landers said. “My personal goal is to drop two seconds in my 200 and team goal is to make it to state again with the relays.”

Benton Broadus will be another key factor for Eminence and will make history as the first diver in program history.

“He is going to be diving for us this year. He will be the first diver the team has ever had. He pulls double practices several times a week,” said Buckley.

On the girls’ side, Eminence has a number of new swimmers, including Amara Heath and Kennedy Blevins, who each have previous swim experience and a strong foundation in each stroke.

“The girls team is made up of new swimmers and I am excited to see what they can do,” said Buckley.

For Henry County, the entire girls relay team, comprised of sophomores Lily Jane Powell, Katie Jo Sheehan, Autumn Shea and Brooklyn Shea, returns and hopes to make it to the first round of state.

“I’m feeling pretty good, nervous but hoping for the best,” said Brooklyn Shea. “This year I’ve been focusing more on my techniques and my breathing.”

At last year’s regional meet, the quartet teamed up for 10th place in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 2:21.88.

“We’re feeling pretty good. I’m nervous but I’m also excited,” said Powell. “(During the preseason, I’ve worked on) my breathing technique and just improving everything.”

The group also earned 10th place in the 200 yard free relay with a time of 2:08.06 and 10th in the 400 yard free relay with a time of 4:49.63.

“I'm feeling pretty good I'm excited about the new season and I hope to make new memories of my team,” said Autumn Shea. “My goal is to have fun and just to enjoy the sport, try to get better times, lose some time as a team. I hope we can beat another school record.”

Margot Duncan is the lone newcomer for the Lady Cats, but Buckley said she is eager to improve this season.

On the boys’ side, Esdon Prewitt and Eli McAllister lead the team so far in their respective events.

During last year’s regional meet, both athletes helped the Wildcats to an 11th place finish in the 200 yard free relay with a time of 2:03.79.

Individually, Prewitt came in 14th in the 100 yard backstroke with a 1:08.40 as well.

“(My personal goal) is probably to get a faster time (in) the 500, be more fluid in that,” said Prewitt. “Team goals, just to have a good time in our relay.”

Returners such as Bryden Everhart, Isaac Jeffries, Jude Cook and more should also contribute to the Wildcats’ success this season.

“I’m coming into this season feeling (that) it’s going to be pretty good,” said Everhart. “I’m just getting my mind right and learning how to focus.”

Henry County’s dedication from veterans and newcomers should pay off as the season progresses and allow the Wildcats to be a competitive force at regionals.

“Their dedication to the team shows at practice. We are a young team but they have a lot of heart,” said Buckley.

Both teams began the season at the Autumn Classic on Nov. 8. The next meet is scheduled for Dec. 6.

“Swimming is one of the few sports that can have the same coach for two different teams. But you don’t see the division at practice. These two teams, along with Spencer County, are like a big family. It is not uncommon to see them all training together and cheering each other on at the meets. I couldn’t do it without the help of Jeremiah Heath, Jessie Herman, and Diane Rodriguez,” said Buckley.
